The days of struggling on top of a ladder to get the exact zoom you need are gone. Now you can install this HD Bullet in the direction you need and then control the zoom right through the HD-CVI DVR. This way you can control whether you want a super wide angle setting at 2.7mm or a more narrow, zoomed in view at 12mm. It's your choice, and the camera will automatically focus itself to the new setting. Not only can you control the zoom through the DVR, but you can also control the OSD (On Screen Display) settings. That is one of the great features of HD-CVI. All control and video go through the same coax video cable. You see, HD-CVI works on standard coax cable while delivering that High Definition 1080p signal to the DVR.
